28. Today's the day!

Well its here, day 1 of treatment and I'm going to have my last bath and wash my hair in a bit ( you aren't allowed to wash you head under the water during treatment as you are meant to keep your neck as dry as you can and wash your hair forwards over the bath or sink to avoid getting anywhere too wet. ) more hassle, especially for someone who can't go more than 48 hrs with out washing my hair :(

I'm very tired and we haven't even started yet so that's not a good sign. The weathers foul and has been windy and chucking it down all night and this morning, so no work on the outside today, which pushes them being here further into the week and I was actually hoping it would have been finished before today even. So in a 3 hours I will be laying on a machine wearing the face of death mask :0 and being zapped.

I just have to go and count the days off and hope I manage it til the end .

The lump has been quiet, but in its silence has decided to grow, obviously having a last ditch attempt to be a complete twat before its nuked! Funny how it stayed small and didn't do anything really until I went and sought treatment! Ever since the first biopsy its been so much more unstable and definitely grown since the second biopsy and tonsillectomy, which just goes to show if you let things be sometimes they don't do anything. Obviously sticking needles in it and poking it has pissed it right off. The scary part is the Pet scan was done 3 months ago so they are treating you off results from 1/4 year ago, it could be anywhere and everywhere by now. :(

Oh well just got to go along with it I suppose, its my circus but definitely not my monkeys.
