36. Counting Down instead of up.

Well last week seemed to be endless.

Side effects wise, the pain ramped up quite alot, the sticky feeling in my mouth was at times beyond unbearable, to the point of being panick inducing 😞 but I think if I could wave a magic wand and get rid of the worst its the taste of salt. 🤢 Everything tastes of salt! Even tap water! My mouth when I haven't eaten or drunk SALT, my mouth if I drink SALT if I try to eat over the pain SALT, if I brush my teeth SALT, mouthwash SALT.

MY GOD ITS DISGUSTING!!!

Last week I felt like giving up, everyday, it was hellish!

I had one poxy rest day, where I have to say I got very little rest and today 21st Dec I was back for treatment 16.

Im counting down, instead of up 🤸‍♀️

My tongue is burnt and so sore, my mouth is sore bleeding and dried out, my throat feels like someone's dragged barbed wire through it, but I've not given it yet!

Today hospital transport started and they came for me in a mini bus ambulance. Tomorrow a nice man called Keith is coming👍in a taxi.

Hopefully this week being taken door to door and only 4 days ( 2 treatments on Tuesday) before having an amazing 3 whole days off WOOHOO, will zoom past and before I know it I'll be this time next week at single figures to go. Wow!

Im celebrating by falling asleep on the sofa for the afternoon.

I really can't be more happy to be past the half way mark.
