38. Its the final countdown

Today the treatment was probably 1 of the worst 😔 my throat was swollen so the mask was super tight, and the fact I haven't done it for 3 days you forget how claustrophobic it is after not being in it for a couple of days. 😔 I know im not eating and drinking enough now, so I also had an immediate banging headache after at the exit point at base of my skull at the back. Also all my teeth felt like I'd been electrocuted and ear ache.

The trip was quick and I was home from an 11am appointment by 12.45 when I promptly got back into pyjamas and went back to bed. The afternoon I basically slipped in and out of weird dreams broken only by pain and massive surges of hot flushes and itching.

A little too late but worrying about the clinic checks tomorrow regarding weight I have forced down a hot chocolate, 2 full cups tea, scrambled egg ( made by paul with milk and butter in it) and a super high calorie chocolate cream dessert pot.

Im loosing approx .5lb a day the last 2 weeks, which in dietician speak means basically I need to be eating at least another 800 calories per day 😳😱

Im thinking of wearing very heavy boots and maybe 2 pairs of trousers tomorrow and fill my pockets with loose change.

Gotta say, thats a life time first, being frightened I've lost too much weight for a Dr. 🤔🥴

But Day 21 of radiotherapy is done. Im now officially in single figures and on the final countdown.
