48. Tired with toothache

Well I am 3 days with no radiation and this is the longest I have gone throughout treatment so looking forward to tomorrow as it will be the longest I've not been radiated since the beginning of December 😀

My throat today was rough, and gritty feeling but I managed to get through the middle of the day with no pain relief, had a bath, hair wash, and sat downstairs and did some of the new jigsaw thats currently taking up the dining room table.

Managed a couple of spoonfuls of mashed sweet potato with some of the gravy out of the slow cooker beef stew and dumplings I made Paul for his supper but it stung like hell and so 5 teaspoons was all I could push myself to eat although it was semi solid 👍

Im still unbelievably tired, just having a bath getting dressed and drying my hair nearly sent me back to bed for a nap 😒

But hopefully over the next week or so things will improve.

Im so looking forward to a long iced glass of Pepsi max its probably the thing I want most at the moment, or anything really that doesnt taste of salt.

But I miss drinks the most.

I've had pretty bad toothache today well not even toothache, like they have been wriggled in their sockets and disturbed.

Not a pleasant feeling, and brings to mind how damaging the radiotherapy is for your teeth, another little gift this cancer will leave me with, never ending dental appointments 😢

So on that thought Im going to go brush my teeth again and hopefully get rid of the salt taste for ten minutes after.

Early night after that and fingers crossed day 4 post radiotherapy is all Im hoping it will be.
